Small garden cultivators mean small tiller equipment, which is used in small gardens for providing both primary and secondary tillage. It helps to make work easier for a gardener. Almost every gardener has various type of gardening equipment depends on his/her garden size. Gardening is almost impossible without uses of gardening equipment. This equipment helps a gardener to prepare soil for agricultural works or gardening by digging, stirring, picking, raking, hoeing etc.

There are two types of equipment used in small garden which is hand tools and power tools. Small gardeners generally use some hand items such as digger, shovels, rakes, trowels etc. Some gardening machinery works with power which is costly than hand items but helps to minimize labor of a gardener. A Garden Tiller is one of the power based equipment which is the most important for gardening whether its small or big garden. It breaks the soil and makes the soil ready for planting. Chippers, garden shredders, pruning tools such as pruning shears, looping shears, pole pruners, wheelbarrows, pest control equipment such as horse-end sprayer, compressed air sprayer, watering equipments, soil monitoring equipment such as soil test kits are the other power tools which are used in small gardening. Generally a small gardener hires those power items which are rototillers for sale.  

There is some other equipment used as small garden cultivator, which is seeding and planting tools, trellises, composting and harvesting tools. Those entire items used as small garden cultivator and make work easier for a gardener.

There are various type of small garden cultivator is available in market. A gardener may get those products as per their requirements. But they should aware at the time of buy those item from market because of quality factor. Those items are not for short time uses, it will give many years service if a gardener use this items with proper care.

Uses of a lawn mower and choosing the best

In the previous article we talked about garden tillers, and this time we will focus on another gardening equipment: the lawn mower.

We may want to keep a cleaning environment around our houses. Then we need to remove unnecessary grass on the compound and also if somebody need to make a new sport ground or maintain a current sports ground, we need to put a certain grass level. To do that, we use a very tool which known as lawn mower. Thus a lawn mower is a machine that uses a revolving blade or blades to cut a lawn at an even length.

Actually there are plenty of various types of lawn mowers, but we need to choose the best one according to our work. There are 3 types of lawn mowers which are,

1.) Push type – a human needs to push it

2.) Ride on type – a human rides it

3.) Multi-gang type – pulled behind a tractor

First we need to notify which kind of lawn mower is needed for our work. For home purposes, we need to use push type one and for sports ground purposes, we need ride on type one and for even bigger grounds such as golf grounds are needed multi-gang type. When we purchase a better lawn mower, we need to clarify some areas for particular lawn mowers.

1.) Consideration according to the terrain:

-          As earlier mentioned, this is essential since we need to purchase a lawn mower according to our needs.

2.) Consideration about high wheels:

-          Mowers with high rear wheels may look more maneuverable, but the engines are mounted beyond up front that makes them harder to tilt back when making U-turns at the end of a row.

3.) Consideration about the brand:

-          This is important because lawn mowers’ activities may be different according to the brand and it’s important if some damage is occurred. For an example, more than one manufacturer makes some brands, so you will need the mower’s model number when replacing blades and other parts.
